This is a simple recipe to make and features just a few ingredients. I love using dried spices since they are easy to have on hand and can be added to any recipe easily. This gluten-free lamb meatball recipe includes the following ingredients:
- Ground beef
- Shredded zucchini
- Shredded carrots
- Dried dill
- Dried basil
If you are sensitive to eggs you can substitute a chia egg instead.
How to Make Gluten Free Lamb Meatballs
Gluten free lamb meatballs can be easily prepared and cooked in just around 30 minutes. Start by preheating the oven and then grab a baking sheet and set it aside.
Next, you need to prep all the ingredients. You will need to peel and shred the carrot and zucchini. If you don’t want to chop onions or grate veggies I suggest using a food processor or blender as a way to save time.
After the veggies are prepped you want to take the lamb, onion, zucchini, carrots, basil, dill, egg, and blend all the ingredients together with a spatula. Then take the meat mixture and make meatballs the size of your palm. Place it on the baking sheet and repeat until all the meat is used.
Place the raw meatballs in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked all the way through.
