Hello! My name is Jeanette. I am a Registered Dietitian with a passion for food and blogging that inspired me to start this website.

Stress is a common occurrence in all of our lives. Did you know what you eat can affect the way you feel?

As an anxious and stress-filled person, I was excited to find comfort in cooking. It is something that brings me calm and joy. It was also something that had a profound effect on the way I felt.

Getting optimal nutrition from nutrient-rich foods has made me feel my best. It also gives my body the vitamins and minerals I needed to combat stress.

With this blog, I want to share my recipes that nourish the body and soul.

You will find a lot of gluten and dairy-free recipes because I am someone who follows this type of diet. I do eat meat, but I see it as more of a side dish with veggies as the main attraction.

These recipes vary from short time-saving ideas to more in-depth recipes. All are based on nutrient-dense foods like fruits and vegetables.
